Privacy Policy

This covers the TestInspector waitlist at testinspector.ai. It is written against what the site actually does, which at this stage is one thing: hold your email address until early access opens.

Last updated 9 August 2026

The short version. We store your email address so we can tell you when your invite is ready. We do not store your IP address, we set no tracking cookies, we run no analytics or advertising scripts, and we never sell or share your address. One click unsubscribes you, and asking us to delete your record means it is gone.

Who we are

TestInspector is a product of Astaqc Consulting (astaqc.com), the data controller for the information described here. Reach us at hello@testinspector.ai or contact@astaqc.com.

What we collect

Only what arrives when you submit the waitlist form. Nothing is gathered as you browse.

DataWhere it comes fromWhy
Email addressYou type itTo email you when early access opens
Date and time of signupOur serverOrdering the waitlist and showing you your position
CountryDerived from your connectionRough sense of where interest is coming from
Referring pageYour browserTo know which link brought you
A one-way hash of your IPComputed on our serverRate limiting, to stop bulk abuse of the form

We do not store your IP address. It is combined with a secret salt and put through SHA-256, and only that hash is written down. The result cannot be reversed into an address, and it is used for nothing except counting signups from the same source within an hour.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies of its own. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel, no session tracking and no cross-site profiling. Nothing is stored in your browser by us.

Our infrastructure provider may set strictly necessary cookies for security and bot protection. Those exist to keep the site available and free of abuse, not to build a profile of you, and we cannot read anything from them.

Who has access to it

Us, and two kinds of service provider that make the site work:

Both act only on our instructions under contract, and neither may use your address for its own purposes. That is the entire list. No advertising networks, no data brokers, no analytics vendors. We do not sell, rent or trade your address, and we will not hand it to anyone else except where the law genuinely requires it. If you want to know who our providers are before you sign up, just ask and we will tell you.

Where it is held

Our providers operate internationally, so your address may be stored or processed outside the country you live in. Where that involves a region with different data protection standards, we rely on the contractual safeguards those providers have in place, such as standard contractual clauses. Ask and we will tell you more about where your record sits.

Why we are allowed to hold it

Your consent, given when you submitted the form. You can withdraw it at any moment, and doing so costs you one click.

How long we keep it

Until you tell us to stop. Concretely:

Your rights

Wherever you live, we will honour these. Depending on your jurisdiction some of them may also be legal entitlements under laws such as the GDPR or the DPDP Act.

Email hello@testinspector.ai for any of these. We aim to respond within 30 days, and there is no charge.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS only, administrative access is protected, and IP addresses are hashed rather than stored. No system is perfectly secure, but the best protection we can offer is holding very little in the first place, and that is the approach we have taken.

Children

TestInspector is a developer tool and is not aimed at children. Please do not sign up if you are under 16. If we learn we hold a child's address we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects you, we will say so on this page and update the date above. Material changes to how we use your address would be notified by email.
